About OneWander
OneWander is built on one belief: the best connections happen in person. Find an event, create or join a hangout like pregames, afterparties, and meetups, coordinate in group chat, and go. Real people showing up to real things to turn any night out into an adventure.
A hangout is any gathering that happens around an event. This could be a pregame at a park, an afterparty at a nearby bar, or a meetup before the show. Hangouts help you connect with others before, during, or after the event.
OneWander is built around action, not just talk. Each hangout has its own group chat so your crew can coordinate, but it's the people who actually show up that earn their reputation. Find an event, create a hangout, chat with your crew, and go.
While OneWander is designed around events, you can browse and discover what's happening in your area even if you're just curious. It's a great way to stay in the loop with your local scene.
Using the App
Once you've found an event you're interested in, you'll be able to create a hangout with just a few taps. Set the type (pregame, afterparty, meetup), add details, and invite others to join.
Browse hangouts tied to any event. When you find one that interests you, request to join. The host reviews your profile and reputation, and if accepted, you're in. Then just show up.
Yes! When creating a hangout, you can set it to public (anyone can join), friends-only (only your connections can see it), or invite-only (you manually approve each person).
Each hangout has its own group chat. Once you're accepted, you can message the group to coordinate plans, share details, and get hyped. It's built to keep things moving — plan together, then show up together.
Safety & Privacy
Safety is a priority for us. We implement community-driven moderation, reporting tools, and verification features. We encourage positive interactions and have zero tolerance for harmful behavior.
Yes. If you encounter any inappropriate behavior, you can report users directly from their profile or after a hangout. Our team reviews all reports and takes action to maintain a safe community.
You control your privacy. Your profile shows your name and photo by default. You can choose what additional info to share. Your exact location is never shared - only general areas for meetup coordination.
