About OneWander
OneWander is built on one belief: the best connections happen in person, not in a chat thread. Find an event, create or join a hangout like pregames, afterparties, and meetups, choose your crew, and go. No endless threads, real people showing up to real things to turn any night out into an adventure.
A hangout is any gathering that happens around an event. This could be a pregame at a park, an afterparty at a nearby bar, or a meetup before the show. Hangouts help you connect with others before, during, or after the event.
OneWander isn't another group chat disguised as a social app. There's no messaging here—on purpose. Instead, people who actually show up earn their reputation, so you always know who's reliable. Find an event, create a hangout, choose your crew, and go.
While OneWander is designed around events, you can browse and discover what's happening in your area even if you're just curious. It's a great way to stay in the loop with your local scene.
Using the App
Once you've found an event you're interested in, you'll be able to create a hangout with just a few taps. Set the type (pregame, afterparty, meetup), add details, and invite others to join.
Browse hangouts tied to any event. When you find one that interests you, request to join. The host reviews your profile and reputation, and if accepted, you're in. Then just show up.
Yes! When creating a hangout, you can set it to public (anyone can join), friends-only (only your connections can see it), or invite-only (you manually approve each person).

Safety & Privacy
Safety is a priority for us. We implement community-driven moderation, reporting tools, and verification features. We encourage positive interactions and have zero tolerance for harmful behavior.
Yes. If you encounter any inappropriate behavior, you can report users directly from their profile or after a hangout. Our team reviews all reports and takes action to maintain a safe community.
You control your privacy. Your profile shows your name and photo by default. You can choose what additional info to share. Your exact location is never shared - only general areas for meetup coordination.
